Snow Monster

{July 8, 2013} Kimchi: We went to Snow Monster for a cool dessert on a hot night. This place seems pretty bustling but it’s also a rather small restaurant with a few tables inside and outside. Not going to lie, we were like idiots trying to find this place. It’s on the side facing the street, so turn into the plaza to park and walk towards the street to find it. We did all kinds of crazy routes trying to find it until I noticed it was facing the street…
Kimchi: It was a few hours before closing and sadly they had no macarons for us to order. There’s nothing too special about their cookie sandwiches, but for “gourmet” cookies, at least my chocolate fudge cookies tasted super delicious (I’m a chocolate lover). They warm it up so that it’s a nice contrast with your ice cream, although it wasn’t that warm…I would have preferred it a little warmer so that it could be softer and easier to use my spoon. The green tea ice cream was okay – it tasted more “floral” to me than “green teaish” but that’s okay. I figured green tea paired with chocolate might not be the best combo anyways. All in all, pretty good…decent at the very least. I want to come back to try the macaron ice cream sandwiches before I can really judge this place.
