Siam Taste of Asia

{June 28, 2013} Kimchi: As mentioned before, we adore Siam’s fried tofu.
Kimchi: Their pad thai is so far my favorite pad thai. It has a bit of a smoky flavor and that sweet tamarind taste that’s so good in pad thais. It’s perfect for squeezing a lime over and eating with some pickled jalapenos. The shrimps were tasty – tender and not overcooked.
Kimchi: This was the first time we tried their fried sea bass. It didn’t disappoint. We chose the tamarind sauce which was both sweet and sour. I wouldn’t mind trying the curry sauce next time. The fish has a bit of a crispiness that is still there even after I get through eating it slowly. This dish is best with rice (which they don’t provide) so that’s another dollar added to your bill. The fish was great because it doesn’t have the overwhelming “fishy” taste.
