{June 26, 2013} Kimchi: We were disappointed with the onigiri (I’ve never had a legit one before) because we were expecting it to have a filling. Instead, it had flaked salmon bits mixed all over in the rice and no filling. It would have tasted great with a spicy mayo & salmon filling.
Kimchi: The sandwiches were premade and packaged. The potato croquette was pretty good – the breaded potato was soft and interesting when eaten with the soft bread. Definitely starch overload, but I can see why these exist.
Kimchi: The chicken katsu sandwich was also cold – all of the sandwiches are cold so the breading is no longer crisp, but surprisingly it tasted good cold. This sandwich had a good katsu sauce in it. It tastes very Japanese so I think some picky-eater Americans would find these sandwiches a little strange. All in all, pretty satisfying! I would want to eat the katsu sandwich again.
