Golden Elephant

Kimchi: I like the decor of this place; it looks very nicely done.

Pad Thai

Kimchi: Their pad thai was average. It wasn’t quite tasty enough for me to come back here again, craving it. I definitely needed to put the assorted spices/chiles in it to give it an extra umph.

Che bap

Kimchi: It was still not too long after the grand opening and the promotion that day was free soda and free dessert. A very small dish of che bap (sweet corn dessert) but that size was good enough. Tasted okay, although I can’t see someone ruining this dessert. Overall, everything at Golden Elephant was OK. I would give it 3 stars for having average food and a beautiful restaurant. Not much else to write home about. They might want to stick with Vietnamese food – their Thai food seems to be lacking the luster most authentic Thai food has.
