{April 1, 2013} Kimchi: I used this recipe and added two boiled broccoli heads chopped up as well. It’s supposed to be a lighter version because it uses some chicken broth for the sauce rather than completely butter & cream. Of course, it’s still full of calories, but it’s a creamy pasta for cryin’ out loud! 😛 Making pasta without using a canned sauce is delicious! I love Chef John’s recipe. His method of poaching chicken in the chicken broth makes it surprisingly flavorful and tender for boiled chicken! His recipe uses up a whole pound of pasta, but my family usually ends up finishing most of it. 🙂
