{February 14, 2013} Kimchi: I made this recipe before, but this time I cut back on the chocolate chips to about only 1 cup or less to see if it would still taste good. It made the brownie less dense and more airy. The chocolate is less overwhelming. Made a lot of brownies for Valentine’s Day 😀 My boyfriend and family gobbled these up. I love these for their lightness. I still love really chocolatey and dense brownies, but there’s only so many of them that you can eat if they are so rich 😛 I suppose if you want a less sickeningly rich brownie, you could go with just 1 cup or less of chocolate and then mix in some chocolate chips in the batter before baking it. Might try that next time.
By the way, these are AWESOME heated up in the microwave and topped with a scoop of ice cream. Yum.
