Kimchi: The loving Martini brought me to our favorite AYCE sushi joint for my birthday, even though he was sick. The great thing about this place is that not everyone in your party has to get AYCE. I know most places are pretty anal about that (afraid of non-AYCE customers “stealing” the AYCE person’s food). Martini wasn’t going to get it, but he was uber tempted and ended up ordering AYCE with me 🙂

I would say most of the nigiri here tastes great while the rolls are kinda mushy, filled with too much rice, and too filling. Of course, a friend of ours preferred the rolls, so I guess it’s up to personal taste! Anyway, most of the nigiri we got tasted nice and fresh, although on occasion there would be one or two that tasted questionable. But for the 1:10 ratio of bad:good, I will forgive Sake 2 Me for that 😛 Also, on two occasions I noticed the tuna always tastes bad. Lesson: never order tuna nigiri.

What you’re about to see is what the two of us (yes, only 2 people) devoured.
