{May 25, 2012} Kimchi: This was my favorite entree out of the two we shared. This dish was shared among three girls, so every bite was precious and savored. The plantain-based fufu at the bottom was great mixed with the spicy red sauce, the pork belly was incredibly tender and flavorful, and two jumbo shrimp on top were very juicy.
Kimchi: The waitress recommended getting half red and half white for our sangria. It had a bit of a bitter kick to it and we prefer sweet, so we probably would go for a full carafe of the sweeter one. As my friend said, “Do you ever notice how the more you drink, the louder you start to talk, as if you couldn’t have been heard otherwise?” 😀
Kimchi: I found the chicken to be average and very plain – perhaps it was just that day? But the zucchini and squash vegetables were delicious.
We absolutely loved the atmosphere for dinner time. It had a cozy buzz of chatter in the background, extremely dim lighting, and romantic candles everywhere.
