{December 26, 2011} Kimchi: There’s a funny story behind going to Mimi’s Cafe. My two cousins, my older brother, and I went to a mall to hang out together after Christmas. We don’t spend much time together, you see. At the mall there was a huge food court, which was according to plan – many food choices and hopefully something for each person. My brother and one of my cousins were so picky that they ended up not wanting anything in the food court. They wanted AYCE korean bbq. After we went there, it turned out to have a 2 hr wait. So we went to two different Japanese restaurants before realizing that they both closed between lunch and dinner hours. LOL. We finally just caved in to the hunger and went to Mimi’s Cafe.
But I’m still glad we went there! I had this tasty croissant that had turkey, cranberry, and brie cheese. I think it was the brie cheese that suckered me in. The melty, creamy cheese was exactly what I wanted. The croissant and fries were both really crispy so that was great too.
