Dressing

Kimchi: For Thanksgiving in these recent years, I like to cook my family a big grand meal! I found the recipes online, and they are a big hit at my house. Usually we don’t like stuffing since we used to have store-bought ones that are really soggy. Not this one! Perfect amount of dryness and moistness with sausage chunks, cranberries, apples, onions, and celery.

Mashed Potatoes

Mashed Potatoes

Kimchi: No more instant mashed potatoes from boxes, now that I found out making real mashed potatoes is really yummy!

Caramel Glazed Squash

Kimchi: The caramelized squash was very soft after being baked, and the brown sugar left the outsides nice and sweet.

Sweet Potato Casserole

Sweet Potato Casserole

Kimchi: I made a sweet potato casserole as a sort of dessert. There are candied pecans and brown sugar mixture on the top. It was too sweet for my family, unfortunately, but I love making it.

Thanksgiving Platter

Kimchi: The turkey was taken care of by my mom. This year we bought an organic young turkey, so it was extremely moist – not at all like typical, dry turkey. Eating everything after preparing for so many hours was a real treat.
