{June 11, 2011} Kimchi: Free, soft bread as an appetizer while we wait for our main course always puts me in a good mood. :pink: The wheat bread was extra yummy because it had a sweet taste to it and little oats on the outside. We came here using a $25 gift certificate I earned online haha. Since I love their cheesecake so much I was considering on only buying cheesecake with this gift card but Martini convinced me to make it a dinner date instead.
Kimchi: The Spicy Chicken Jambalaya. The chicken was unbelievably soft! How long do they cook ’em for?! That was a nice surprise. I liked this pasta because it didn’t feel overwhelming with sauce like other dishes.
Kimchi: I have a love affair with cheesecake. And red velvet cake is one of my most favorite cakes of all time! So…as you can guess, this Red Velvet Cheesecake was the best of both worlds and it was amazing. The red velvet cake was absolutely moist. As always, their cheesecake is tasty. Even better yet, there’s cream cheese frosting on top of the cheesecake! haha. Delicious. The only things I didn’t like were the white chocolate curls at the edge of the cake (I’m not a fan of hard chocolate in dessert). You can bet I craved this thing for a looong time.
