SAVORY FOOD: Their fried chicken is top notch and is this restaurant’s shining specialty. A great Korean bar to eat savory dishes and grab some drinks. All of their savory dishes are pretty large and are much better for sharing family style with your table. The chicken is juicy with extremely crispy breading – perfect. […] {More...}

We used Maangchi’s recipe. 3 cups cooked rice 1 cup kimchi chopped 1/4 cup kimchi juice 1/4 cup water 3 tbsp pepper paste 3 tsp sesame oil 1 tbsp sesame seed Stirfry kimchi in oiled pan […] {More...}

Kimchi: This place markets itself as a korean kitchen, but it’s more like a fusion place. If you like fusion food and/or have got an open mind, then come on down! Kimchi: Complimentary banchan! Kimchi: The steamed egg soup is super good. We really enjoyed eating the meats with rice paper and daikon vegetable. Their other banchan weren’t that impressive in my opinion. My favorite was probably the brisket. Martini: I love the side dishes this place had, well worth the $20 or so dollars I paid for. I […] {More...}

Kimchi: Isn’t the presentation cute? Haha. This was when Martini and I really had a passion for experimenting with cooking. We would diligently try new recipes and take pictures. The Ddeokbokki was really spicy and yummy. I had the idea of adding egg noodles to the dish to kind of give it a little more […] {More...}

Martini: This little hole in the wall is the cheapest place that we know of that has the tofu soup and decent bulgogi and all the Korean side dishes that you normally find at BCD Tofu House. Except it’s cheaper, MUCH cheaper. It’s about half the price at BCD and tastes just as good. Kimchi: […] {More...}

Kimchi: We tried a recipe from YouTube’s Maangchi! Kimchi: It was Martini’s idea to present it so nicely. Isn’t it cute? haha 🙂 Kimchi: When we finished cooking and prepping the ingredients, we were ready to eat! The pork is VERY spicy depending on how much hot pepper paste you put in. It is delicious […] {More...}
