Buttermilk Fried Chicken & Waffle

Buttermilk Fried Chicken & Waffle

Kimchi: Bruxie’s classic chicken waffle sandwich is amazing. The chicken is nice and big so that you can’t even close your waffle, haha. Despite it looking like it would taste really greasy, it didn’t! It was just crispy and juicy and deeelicious. The cole slaw and maple syrup added a nice touch. Bruxie’s waffles are also belgium waffles, I think. They don’t taste sickeningly sweet like most waffles you’d normally eat at a breakfast joint. They are fluffy and light and savory, not sweet.

Martini: If you have to get two things at Bruxie, I highly suggest to get the classic chicken and lemon cream and berries! They were amazingg, I’d get these two things every time. The waffle is tasty and savory, compliments the chicken well, craving it now as I write this post T_____T

Creme Brulee

Creme Brulee

Martini: The strawberries are a good contrast to the sweetness of the creme brulee, I like sour as much as sweet so this combination was perfect for me 🙂

Lemon Cream & Berries

Lemon Cream & Berries

Kimchi: Surprisingly, I preferred the lemon cream and berries dessert waffle over the Creme Brulee. Usually I’m the one with the unstoppable sweet tooth, but I thought Creme Brulee was too sweet and I preferred the fruity/lemony/creamy taste of this waffle.

Martini: This sweet waffle dessert is made for me because I like the tart taste of fruits like lemon and berries. The sweetness is there but the fruity taste hits strong. I always have to get this every time I come to Bruxie, so gooood!
