Taylor Street Baked Ziti

Italian sausage, pomodoro sauce and ziti topped with a layer of melted Provolone and Parmesan

Kimchi: Martini had the “Taylor Street Baked Ziti,” the pasta was very chewy, al dente. He said that the chicken was very soft. I think the sauce was great because it tasted like fresh tomatoes rather than the usual slightly bitter tasting marinara sauce.

Martini: The Ziti had a very interesting flavor. The fresh tomatoes definitely added to the taste because it provided an almost sweet-like flavor. I’m not a big fan of Marinara sauce but the one in this dish was one of the best I’ve had. Added with the chewy pasta and soft chicken this dish made me really full. The portion is amazing too.

Manicotti filled with spinach, chicken and Ricotta cheese, baked with alfredo sauce

Kimchi:ร‚ย  had the “Chicken & Spinach Manicotti” and let me tell you, it was soooo creamy and delicious! The manicotti was super soft but crispy at the edges. The chicken and spinach inside were extremely soft and complimented each other very well. The sauce looks liquidy, but actually it was extremely thick and creamy. I know it was full of calories and fat, but it was so worth it! It was the perfect amount for me.

The very best of our Classic Desserts served in individual-sized portions. Tiramisu, Crรƒยจme Brulee, Apple Crostada, New York Style Cheesecake

Kimchi: For dessert we had the “Mini Dessert Sampler.” Our favorites were the cheesecake (notice we ordered two because we each wanted one of our own!) and the Apple Crostada, which was very crispy. I have to thank my mother for this meal because she gave me a $25 giftcard to use here. ๐Ÿ™‚

Martini: The dessert sampler was like tasting tiny bits of sweet heaven. It was that good. The cheesecake definitely stood out because that’s usually our favorite but overall the whole thing was great. And since they’re so small, you don’t feel full after eating one, you just want to keep going and eat the rest. I can’t wait to get this again when we go back to Maggianos!
